BUFORD, Ga. — It was all Gainesville all night in the 56-31 win over Seckinger on the road Friday.
The Red Elephants (11-6, 4-3 Region 7-5A) jumped out to a 22-0 lead in the first quarter to pace the win.
They held the Jaguars scoreless for seven minutes of the opening quarter and led 24-3 at the end of the quarter.
Julia Payne and Damaria Colburn combined for 16 points in the first quarter.
Payne, who left the game with an injury, finished with eight points. Colburn had nine.
Jayla Mintz led Gainesville with 12 points and six rebounds. Shailyn Jones finished with 11, and Jaucelyn Smith had seven.
Gainesville extended its lead 32-11 in the second and led 46-22 at the end of the third quarter.

Kaylana Curry scored 20 points to lead the Lady Vikings past West Hall on the road Friday.
Haley Barton added 14, and Terriah Watkins had 13.

The Lady Wolves (15-1, 7-1 Region 8-6A) held Collins Hill to 13 first-half points en route to a 38-13 lead and the win at Collins Hill on Friday.
Buford extended its lead to 54-29 by the end of the third quarter.
Lydia Ledford led the Lady Wolves with 22 points, and E’Miah Field had 17. Ava Jones chipped in eight.
Kaleigh Heywood and Destiny Pitt scored 11 each to lead Collins Hill (7-12, 4-4 Region 8-6A).

NORTH HALL 45
Emma Lightest scored 13 points, and Aslyn Burkett had 11 to lead White County (15-1, 6-1 Region 6-3A) past the Lady Trojans at home on Friday.
Kylie Watkins added 10 points and 16 rebounds.
The Lady Warriors led 16-12 at the end of the first quarter, but North Hall (6-12, 2-6 Region 6-3A) rallied back to tie the game by halftime, 25-25. The game was still tied at the end of the third quarter, 39-39.
NORTH FORSYTH 82,
ALPHARETTA 25
Gabbie Oliata scored 24 points, and London Weaver had 16 to lead the Lady Raiders (19-0, 9-0 Region 6-6A) in the blowout win over Alpharetta at home on Friday.
Emerson Carnes, Lauren Harper, and Leah Bryan had eight points each.

Ellie Roberts's team-high 16 points gave her the school’s all-time scoring record.
Adelyn Gough scored 13 points, and Emma Flowers added 12 points and also set the school’s all-time steals record.
