Habersham County officials looking for man wanted for alleged sex crimes against children

The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help them find a man wanted for multiple alleged sex crimes against children.

44-year-old Omar Cruz-Juarez is listed as 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighing 230-lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

Officials said Cruz-Juarez is possibly driving a bright red Chevrolet Blazer with the Georgia tag number TGM9915.

He has the name Terasia tattooed on his left arm as well as his mother’s name, Bianca, and his father’s name, Martin.

Officials said he is not believed to be armed and dangerous and there is not an active threat to the public, but they do believe he is on the run and has left the county.
