Seven people were injured by a crash in North Hall County over the weekend.
A report issued by the Georgia State Patrol Monday said the wreck happened on Cleveland Highway near Shope Road Saturday night. Officials said the crash started when a Kia Seltos going north on Cleveland Highway stopped for a dog that was running across the road.
The Kia was then rear-ended by a Ford F150 that state patrol officials said was following too closely. The Kia was pushed into the southbound lane of the road where it was hit head-on by a Hyundai Elantra.
The crash left Cleveland Highway shut down in the area for over an hour Saturday night. The names of those involved have not been released, but the state patrol said seven people suffered minor injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals.
