With Autumn officially here, leaves from trees are starting to fall in similar fashion to current statewide gas prices.

AAA of Georgia says state drivers will pay an average of $2.94 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline today(subject to change overnight).  Monday's state average is 4 cents less than a week ago, 26 cents less than a month ago, and 40 cents less than last year.

AAA's Montrae Waiters says, "Thanks to low demand and crude oil costs taking a tumble, gasoline prices are getting a bit nicer on our wallets.  As for guessing when those gas prices will reverse course. Well, that's still anyone's call."

Hall County drivers are paying less, on average, at around $2.90 per gallon, while the lowest average price in northeast Georgia is in Towns County, at just below $2.79 per gallon. The highest average is in White County, at just over $3 per gallon.

A link to find the prices throughout Georgia on the AAA website can be found here. Nationally, today's average price for unleaded regular gasoline sits at $3.21 per gallon for a second consecutive week.
