OAKWOOD, Ga. – West Hall got off to its best start since 2017 as they took down Franklin County, 27-13, Friday night at The Hot Gates.
Zack Wagner had a 55-yard scoop-and-score for the Spartans to take the lead. West Hall led 13-7 at halftime and 20-13 before getting a big fourth down stop in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
Elijah Hayes had 26 carries for 220 yards and a touchdown. It was his third game in a row of over 200 yards rushing.
West Hall opens Region 8-3A action next week on the road at Jefferson.
