COAL MOUNTAIN, Ga. – North Forsyth scored on their first two offensive plays of the night as the Raiders blew past South Forsyth Friday night in Raider Valley, 49-14.

Darron Parry got it started with a 24-yard run on the first offensive play for the Raiders. Two minutes later, on the next play, Avery Adams caught a pass from Eli Seaney for 59 yards and a 14-0 lead. The two hooked up again late in the first quarter for seven yards to give the Raiders a 21-0 lead through one quarter.

Parry found the endzone again midway through the second quarter on a 9-yard run, and the Raiders kept it going before halftime as Seaney linked up with Hudson Wheeler for a 4-yard touchdown to take a 35-0 lead into halftime.

Seaney had one more touchdown on the night early in the third quarter when he found Nate Gravitt for 12 yards and a touchdown. After the War Eagles scored twice, Sammy Lemos sprinted in from 40 yards with just seconds left in the game.

Seaney threw for 144 yards on 11-of-16 through the air, while eight Raiders rushed for 274 yards combined on 28 carries.

North Forsyth will take on Lambert to open region play next Thursday.
