Banks County is reporting an adult male who was found dead in a TravelCenters of America (TA) parking lot on Thursday morning.
The Banks County Sheriff’s Office and Banks County Fire/EMS were dispatched to the scene just before 9 a.m. to the parking lot in Commerce for a welfare check on a person sitting inside a vehicle.
First responders discovered that the adult male was unresponsive and it was later revealed that he was dead on the scene.
A death investigation is underway, and officials say no foul play is suspected at this time.
