GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The Chestatee girls volleyball team ran its win streak to six straight after sweeping a non-region tri-match at the Lynn Cottrell Center on Thursday.
The Lady War Eagles (16-5, 3-0 Region 6-3A) did not drop a set in wins over Franklin County (25-7, 25-15) and North Gwinnett (25-16, 25-22).
Senior outside hitters Kadence Wolfe (14 kills, 2 aces and 14 digs) and Valiree Schmus (25 kills, 2 blocks and 11 digs) were dominant for Chestatee. Junior setter Natalie Sykes sparked the offense with 31 assists, and added 8 aces and 15 digs for the Lady War Eagles.
Senior Payton Cable added 2 kills, 2 blocks and 1 ace, senior Libero Emily Graham had 8 digs, 8 assist and 1 ace, and senior Kaya Snow had 2 kills, 4 digs, 2 aces and 1 block for the Lady War Eagles.
Chestatee will be back in action on Tuesday for a huge region tri-match against Lumpkin County and North Hall.
