Supporters helped raise more than $141,000 during Annandale Village’s 11th Annual Extra Mile 5K & 1 Mile, held on August 24 in downtown Suwanee. More than 600 in-person and virtual participants helped to make it Annandale’s largest 5K run for entries.

Organizers say that all proceeds raised benefit Annandale Village, which is one of only three organizations in the entire country providing a full continuum of service and care for adults living with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries.

Annandale Village CEO Adam Pomeranz says, “The continued support for the population we serve is overwhelming, and I have immense gratitude for the sponsors and individuals who showed up for this year’s event. The generosity of the community has blown us away."

Ty Kelley was the overall male winner and Mo Olocho was the overall female winner at the 11th annual event. The complete list of category winners and overall times can be found  at annandale.org/event/extramile5k.

Annandale Village is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Suwanee, Georgia, providing progressive life assistance for adults living with developmental and intellectual disabilities and acquired brain injuries so that they can maximize their abilities and maintain their independence in the least restrictive environment.
