The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce recently named seven award winners and honored 120 finalists at the 2024 Moxie Awards.
Gwinnett Chamber officials said the annual program honors women leaders and celebrates their achievements.
“The Moxie Awards highlight women who are making a significant impact in both their places of work and their communities,” President and CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett Nick Masino said. “Gwinnett is privileged to have such dynamic and driven women leaders shaping its future. We extend our congratulations to all this year’s finalists and winners.”
The Pay It Forward award was given to Tami Wilder of Positive Impact International.
Laura Ballance from the Hudgens Center for Arts and Learning won the Greater Good award.
Outstanding Organization went to ARK Temporary Staffing (Renae Keitt).
The Influence Award winner was Maureen Kornowa of Hope of Hope at Gwinnett Children’s Shelter.
Allona Lane Cross of the Georgia Commission on Equal Opportunity won the Moxie Award.
The On the Rise award went to Leslie Clark of Amazon.
The Enlightened Employer was given to Gas South (Jenny Hawkins, Michelle Pierce, and Leah Bilz).
Emmy Award-winning news anchor and journalist Monica Pearson was the keynote speaker at the event.
