CUMMING, Ga. – Flowery Branch couldn't get much going offensively Friday night as they fell to Forsyth Central, 10-0.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Bulldogs kicked a field goal midway through the second quarter to take a 3-0 lead into halftime.
Forsyth Central took the opening drive of the second half into the endzone to push the lead out to 10-0. The Falcons had their chances as they found Brooks Recinella for a big pass play late in the third quarter, but the Bulldog defense intercepted a pass early in the fourth and then recovered a Falcon fumble moments later to get the win.
Flowery Branch will travel to Hart County next week.
