The first Georgia High School Association Playoff Rankings were released on Tuesday, and Chestatee is the highest-ranked team in the AccessWDUN coverage area.
The GHSA will use the playoff rankings to seed the playoffs this season in Class A, Division 1 through Class 3A.
The War Eagles (1-0) are currently ranked 10th in Class 3A with a .700 PSR. Sandy Creek and Heritage-Catoosa top the Class 3A rankings with a .925 PSR.
Cherokee Bluff (2-0, .675 PSR) is 14th, East Hall is 19, Jefferson (1-1, .575 PSR) 20th, West Hall (1-1, .500 PSR) 30th, Dawson County (0-1, .350 PSR), Lumpkin County (0-1, .350 PSR) and North Hall are tied at No. 38. White County (0-1, .150 PSR) is ranked 58th and Johnson (0-1, .000 PSR) is 64th.
In Class 2A, East Jackson (.482 PSR) is the highest-ranked area team, coming in at No. 24, and Union County (.150 PSR) is 49th. Pike County (.850 PSR) is at the top of the Class 2A standings.
Rabun County (.350 PSR) is ranked 23rd and is the highest-ranked area team in Class A Division 1. Banks County is 46th, and Commerce is 54th with a .250 PSR. Fannie County is the highest-ranked public school in Class A D1 with a .850 PSR.
