FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — East Hall won its second straight game, holding off Cherokee Bluff 3-1 in a pitcher's duel on Thursday.
The Lady Vikings (4-5) scored twice in the third and once in the fifth to grab a 3-0 lead. Bluff scored one in seventh and had the winning run on base.
But Amari Burce got a pair of strikeouts to end the game to preserve the win.
Burce went the distance allowing just three hits and fanning eight for the game.
Kyleigh Kytle and Aydan Gerrin each had RBI hits for East Hall.
Lillie Diehl had two hits and the lone RBI for the Lady Bears.
