Hall County Fire Rescue crews put out a shed fire before it spread to nearby woods Thursday morning in Gillsville.
Kimberlie Ledsinger with the department said crews responded at around 8:30 a.m. to the 3500 block of Holly Springs Road where they found a large shed fire in a wooded area.
“Crews began their water attack and contained the flames within minutes. Two engines continued to shuttle water since no hydrants were near the scene,” Ledsinger said in a press release.
No one was inside the building and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
