DAWSONVILLE, Ga. — Sadie Dotson hit two home runs and drove in four runs to lead Dawson County to a 14-2, four-inning win over Chestatee on Tuesday at home.
It was the third straight win for Dawson County (4-3).
The Lady Tigers scored 10 runs in the first inning, as Dotson hit both of her home runs in the inning. Lilly Hamilton singled in a run, Aubree Smith knocked in two, and Bryce Greenwood also had a RBI single in the big inning.
After Remy Odom knocked in two runs in the second for Chestatee, Dawson County answered with two more in the bottom of the second and invoked the mercy rule with two runs in the fourth.
Madison Dudley got the win for the Lady Tigers scattering five hits in four innings and striking out seven.
EAST FORSYTH 15,
SOUTH FORSYTH 6 (5 inn)
The Lady Broncos scored every inning in improving to 4-2 on the season.
Emma Smallwood, Cadence Alberty, Reagan Bennett, and Cali Marshall all had three hits and combined for 10 RBI on the day as part of a 15-hit attack.
East Forsyth led 10-6 after the third inning but scored a run in the fourth and four in the fifth to put the game away.
BUFORD 19,
WALNUT GROVE 2
The Lady Wolves used a 14-run seventh inning to blow open a close game on the road.
Brooklyn Atha and Izzy Rettiger each had four hits and Rettiger, Addie Rackley, Janie Goldin, and Carolyn Cagle all had two RBI for the Lady Wolves.
Rackley got the win scattering two hits, allowing just two runs, and fanning 13 in seven innings.
FRANKLIN COUNTY 5,
EAST HALL 2
The Lady Lions held East Hall to just three hits, two by Amari Burce, in taking a non-region win on Tuesday.
East Hall scored first in the opening frame but Franklin County took a 3-1 lead in the third and extended it to 5-2 in the fourth.
Aydan Gerrin took the loss for the Lady Vikings, giving up five runs on four hits in four innings.
NORTH FORSYTH 6,
MILTON 3
A rebuilding Lady Raiders team got its first win of the season on Tuesday.
North Forsyth (1-5) erased a 2-0 deficit, scoring all six runs over the final three innings to rally for the win.
Shelby Morgan had a double, a triple, and knocked in two runs to pace the offense.
Ella Rouse got the win giving up three runs on five hits in a complete-game effort.
NORTH HALL 16,
LANIER 4
The Lady Trojans jumped out to an 8-0 lead after the first three innings and then scored six in the seventh put the game away on the road.
Olivia Mullins had five hits, including a pair doubles, and 3 RBI to lead a 23-hit attack. Genesis Satterfield, Emma Lee Spillers, and Jacey Smith each had three hits for North Hall.
