A 33-year-old Athens man was arrested for possession of over 140 grams of methamphetamine.
The Gwinnett County Police Department says that a traffic stop was done on Lance Allen Meyer on June 8.
K9 units did an open-air sniff and alerted to the odor of narcotics coming from the vehicle, which led to the search, according to officials.
Meyer was taken into custody without incident and charged with trafficking meth.
He is currently detained in the Gwinnett County Jail.
