GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Grant Crowell took the lead at the 2024 City Championship at Chatthoochee Golf Course on Saturday.
Crowell shot a 1-under par 71 for a two-day total of 1-over 145 to lead both Jimmy Lloyd and Brady Kotkiewicz by one shot. Both Lloyd and Kotkiewicz fired 3-over 75s on Saturday. Jim Foote and Nicholas Scott are tied for fourth at 4-over. Sam Patterson had the low round of the day shooting a 2-under 70 to move up to sixth place at 5-over (149).
First round leader John Jacobs shot a 9-over 81 on Saturday to fall six shots off the pace at 7-over for the tournament. Jacobs sits seventh heading into Sunday's final round.
The 54-hole tournament will conclude on Sunday.
