A person who was shot and killed in Oakwood Saturday has now been identified as a Mississippi man.
A release from the Oakwood Police Department Tuesday afternoon identified the victim in the case as Shontae Pratt, age 36 of Houston, Mississippi.
No other new details on the case have been released. The suspect in the case, Jeremy Lewis Gambrel, age 38 of Oakwood, remains in the Hall County Jail without bond on murder charges.
Oakwood police said the case remains under investigation.

A man is facing murder charges after a shooting that killed a man in Oakwood Saturday afternoon.
A release from the Oakwood Police Department Sunday said officers were called to a home on Aster Place in the Prescott neighborhood off of McEver Road just before 4:45 p.m. Saturday to a report of a shooting. When they got to the scene, they found a vehicle that had crashed into the rear of a home on nearby Wild Berry Court.
Inside the vehicle, officers found a man in the driver's seat with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken from the scene to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville where he later died.
Oakwood police called Flowery Branch police and the Hall County Sheriff's Office to help look for the shooter. They ultimately found Jeremy Gambrel, age 38, of Oakwood, at the address of the original 911 call on Aster Place. He was reportedly suffering from a minor injury and was arrested at the scene.
Gambrel is facing charges of murder and aggravated assault with intent to murder.
The case remains under investigation.
