One adult and two children were transported to a local hospital Thursday morning after their car left Cannon Bridge Road at Smith Loop Road outside Demorest.
Rob Moore with Habersham County said the wreck was reported at around 7:55 a.m.
The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office and several area agencies assisted in reaching the vehicle that was down an embankment and across a field.
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the wreck.
Personnel from the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office and Habersham County Emergency Services ensure safety as fire personnel rig a slope evacuation system to get the injured driver up the steep embankment.
Emergency personnel prepare a rope system to bring the basket carrying the injured driver to the top of the steep embankment.
