UPDATED: Wednesday, July 3, at 9:30 A.M.: One person dies from injuries sustained in a wreck in Habersham County on GA-365.
Officials in Habersham County say one of the six people hurt from a weekend collision Saturday afternoon, June 29 along Georgia 365 at Demorest-Mt. Airy Highway has died from their injuries.
Spokesman Rob Moore says that Habersham County Coroner Kasey McEntire has confirmed that a passenger in the church van, 15-year old Theodore "Teddy" Bone, died Wednesday morning at Children's Healthare of Atlanta at Egleston.
Bone was originally among six people injured from the collision between the River Point Communty Church van and a SUV on Saturday afternoon just after 1:30 p.m. No further updates have been released on the other five people injured from the collision.
The cause for the accident still remains under Georgia State Patrol investigation at this time, with no further details released as of this update.

Six people were injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle wreck on Ga. 365 at Demorest-Mt Airy Highway in Demorest.
Rob Moore with Habersham County said a Demorest police officer arrived just after 1:37 p.m. and confirmed the wreck occurred in the southbound lanes of Ga. 365 at the intersection.
One person from the church van was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.
One person from the van was airlifted from the scene to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
The driver of the SUV and one other person were taken by ambulance to NGMC Gainesville.
Three other people in the van were taken by private vehicles for treatment.
The Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the wreck.
