A 29-year-old Clarkesville man was arrested and charged on Tuesday for felony possession of a controlled substance.
According to a Towns County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, officers conducted a traffic stop on Highway 76 at Anderson Bridge.
There, a K-9 unit was alerted, giving officers probable cause to search the vehicle. Officers allegedly found “an amount” of psychedelic mushrooms in Andrew Sean Martin’s vehicle, leading to his arrest and charges.
29-year-old Andrew Sean Martin, of Clarkesville, was arrested and charged for possession of a controlled substance on June 25.
