The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners recognized the accomplishments of Brooke Anderson at the latest meeting which was held on June 20th.
Anderson was recently honored with the Girl Scout Gold Award which is the highest achievement a Girl Scout can earn.
The Gold Award project that Anderson created saw her design, build and install multiple weather-proof kiosks outside each animal enclosure at the barn at Denmark High School.
She also provided educational material to every kiosk for each animal, which included the animals’ names, breeds and their specific contributions to agriculture.
