The City of Winder will celebrate its 131st anniversary with a community event on July 5.
Celebrate Winder, sponsored by Northeast Georgia Medical Center Barrow, will be held at Jug Tavern Park from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The celebration will feature a variety of activities for all members of the community, including live music from the Swingin’ Medallions, food trucks, and a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.
“Our 131st birthday celebration is all about bringing the community together,” Director of Special Events Talore Ruedt said in a release. “With great music, delicious food, and a spectacular fireworks display, there’s something for everyone.”
VIP seating, which will include a table for eight in a roped off area, a view of the entertainment, and a VIP line at the bar, purchased here. Preferred parking is also available to purchase here.
