Warmer weather and busy travel are hand-in-hand with the recent prices for gas at Georgia's stations.

Triple-A of Georgia shows the average price for regular gas is at $3.46 per gallon today (Monday), a 7 cent increase from this time last week, and 13 cents higher than one month ago statewide, and 19 cents higher than from the same time a year ago.

Montrae Waiters of Triple A says the despite the conflicts in the Middle East, there is hope for a decline in prices during the coming weeks as oil prices have recently receded.

Hall County's average price sits at $3.41 per gallon, with the highest average in Northeast Georgia coming from White County at $3.50 per gallon, and the lowest in Towns County near $3.36.

Nationally, the average price for unleaded regular gasoline is at $3.65 per gallon today.  A link to see statewide gas price averages with AAA can be found, here
