A garage fire damaged a home near Flowery Branch Sunday night.

Kimberlie Ledsinger with Hall County Fire Rescue said crews were called to the scene on Cardinal Ridge Way off of J.M. Turk Road around 10:00 p.m. and found the garage fully involved in flames.

"It was connected to a three-story home, and this fire did extend into the second floor and the attic, right about the garage," Ledsinger said.

She said the fire was extinguished quickly, but one side of the home was seriously damaged. All of the residents escaped safely and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal's Office.
