A Gainesville man was arrested on Thursday, Apr. 18 in a methamphetamine trafficking investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, Uniform Patrol Division and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office officials said Jason Guy Alexander, 49 was taken into custody after a search of his home on Wildwood Circle.
Alexander allegedly possessed nearly 366 grams of methamphetamine, scales and packaging materials.
Officials said the estimated street value of the drugs is close to $27,460.
Alexander is charged with felony trafficking methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
He remains in the Hall County Jail without bond.
The case remains under investigation by SIU and HSI.
