Nightly lane closures will be conducted early next week on Interstate 985 in Hall County as work finishes up on the new Elachee Drive Bridge.
According to a press release from the Georgia Department of Transportation, the left lane of both I-985 north and southbound will be closed to remove the temporary barrier wall and install a permanent guardrail.
The closures will run from Monday evening through Wednesday morning from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m., weather permitting.
This impacts the northbound side from mile marker 17.5 to 18.5, and southbound from mile marker 18.5 to 18.
Traffic delays are anticipated. Drivers are urged to consider alternate routes.
