The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has temporarily closed Buford Dam Road to commuters Tuesday amid maintenance work.
In a social media post, the Corps said the road will be closed until 6 p.m. Tuesday (April 2).
They urge drivers to use Highway 20 as an alternate during the closure.
"We appreciate your patience as we work to improve your roads and parks," the post reads.
