Police are looking for a suspect after roughly $15,000 was recently stolen from a restaurant near Duluth.

Gwinnett County Police Corporal Juan Madiedo said Thursday that the burglary happened between midnight and 1:00 a.m. on March 12 at Hwangso Gozip on Merchants Way near Gwinnett Place Mall. Authorities said a suspect was seen on surveillance video walking around the business before entering it by breaking a window, stealing the cash and fleeing on foot towards the mall.

Madiedo said no one was inside the building at the time.

"This business is being remodeled, so at that time it was vacant," Madiedo said.

Police have not identified the suspect, but did release surveillance images to the public Thursday. A report released by the department described the suspect as an African-American male with black hair, a medium build and facial hair. He was seen on surveillance video wearing a black skull cap, a black and grey heavy jacket, black pants and tan boots.

Anyone with information on the suspect's name or location is asked to contact Gwinnett County Police detectives by calling 770-513-5300 or by submitting an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta on their website or by calling 404-577-8477.
