The Georgia Tech-Georgia March 1 game that was postponed due to rain has been officially canceled, according to a release from the Tech athletic department.
The game was originally to be made up on Friday, but due to the forecast, it was canceled.
School officials with both the Yellow Jackets and Bulldogs were unable to find a mutually agreed upon date to finish the game after umpires suspended action in the top of the fifth.
