An evening fire within a northern Hall County mobile home destroys the structure and claims the lives of pets inside the home.

A release from Hall County Fire Rescue overnight Sunday says units responded to a reported house fire in the 5000 block of Britt Whitmire Rd. after the 911 center received a call at around 7:45 p.m. Sunday. Crews arrived to find a singlewide trailer home with flames showing.

While no residents were found to be inside the structure, safety officials did discover two deceased pets-one cat and one dog-inside the charred structure.

Authorities say two people have been displaced by the fire and the Red Cross has been contacted to assist with the displaced residents.   No further injuries were reported.

Hall County EMS Division Chief Bobby Ogletree says in a press release that the cause for the fire remains under investigation.  This structure fire is apparently the third reported over the weekend through Hall County Fire Rescue officials.
