Baseball: NoFo opens Region 8-6A; Dawson-WHall open 7-3A in Oakwood

On another light day on the diamond, North Forsyth will open its Region 8-6A schedule on the road while Region 8-4A will continue its crossover play between subregions.

The Raiders (6-3, 0-0 Region 8-6A) have won three straight coming into its opener against Apalachee (1-7, 0-0 Region 8-6A). The Wildcats are on a four-game skid.

Also, Dawson County and West Hall will open up their Region 7-3A seasons at Spartans Field in Oakwood. The two teams moved their game from Tuesay to Monday due to potential 

Meanwhile, Chestatee, East Forsyth, and East Hall all will be on the road in Region 8-4A.

And Flowery Branch (3-5) continues its juggernaut of a schedule, playing host to Class A Division 2 No.1-ranked Prince Avenue (6-0) at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex.
