Baseball: Bluff remains No. 1 in 4A; NHall jumps into top 10

Cherokee Bluff remained No. 1 in the Coaches Box Week 2 rankings, released on Monday. 

Last week, Bluff was ranked No. 2 in the preseason poll and jumped into the top spot last week.  Bluff has started the season undefeated, knocking off Forest Park, Denmark, South Forsyth, North Atlanta and Druid Hills. 

Meanwhile, after opening the season 7-0, North Hall made its top-10 debut this week. The Trojans have knocked off Newton, Dawson County, Habersham Central, Chapel Hill, Jackson County, Tucker and Mountain View. 

Despite dropping two straight last week, East Forsyth (5-2) moved up one spot to No. 8. 

Five of the top 10 teams in the Class 4A rankings are from Region 8-4A -- North Oconee (No. 5) and Walnut Grove (No. 6).

In Class 3A, White County (5-2) joins Region 7-3A mate in the top 10 this week at No. 9. 

In Class 2A, Banks County (4-1) is ranked No. 9. 

And in Class 7A, Buford (2-2) moved up one spot to No. 3.
