The Georgia State Patrol arrested a Gainesville woman Thursday morning for driving while unlicensed after a multi-vehicle accident near Gainesville.

GSP officials said Clarena A Herrera Rodriguez, 50, was allegedly not licensed and was placed under arrest.

Troopers responded to the area of State Route 60 (Candler Road), south of Fullenwider Road at around 7:05 a.m. to investigate the crash.

It was determined that the driver of a Chevrolet Impala slowed to a stop due to traffic. The driver of a Ford F-150 then slowed to a stop behind the Impala.

After stopping the F-150 was struck from behind by Rodriguez who was driving a Chrysler Town & Country.

She was arrested for driving while unlicensed, following too closely and operating a vehicle with no insurance.

Rodriguez was the only driver to complain of injury.
