New principal chosen for Banks County High School

A familiar face to Banks County High School will be taking over as its next principal in the next school year.

Will Foster has been chosen by Banks County officials to replace the retiring Mike Brown at the end of the 2023-2024 school year. 

A press release from the Banks County School System says Foster has spent the past 12 years of his 13-year educational career working within the Banks County High School at various teaching, coaching and student development positions.

Superintendent Dr. Ann Hopkins says in the release that,"Will brings exemplary leadership qualities to this position. He has a proven track record of fistering success and collaboration. He is genuine and fair and an integral part of this community. I believe his leadership will create a seamless tranistion and continue the great work at Banks County High School."

Foster says he's extremely excited and honored to serve Banks County High School and thankful to everyone there who has guided and supported him as an educator.
