Flowery Branch and Gainesville will try again to get their seasons underway on Wednesday to highlight a limited schedule on the diamond.
The two teams were washed out during Monday's torrential rains but will meet at Ivey-Watson Field with both teams breaking in new head coaches. Dusty Black now leads the Falcons after nine years as an assistant while former Red Elephants standout and MLB player Cris Carpernter is at the helm for the Red Elephants.
Chestatee and West Hall, who opened their seasons with a thriller on Tuesday, both are back in action on Wednesday. Habersham Central will play its opener against the War Eagles at Lynn Cottrell Complex while West Hall plays host to Stephens County.
Rabun County and Union County will open things up in Tiger and East Jackson travels to Monroe Area.
