FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Kaitlin Cook scored four goals, including a penalty kick, to lead the Cherokee Bluff girls to a 5-2 win over Lanier Christian Academy on Tuesday at Yonah Field.
Cook also added one assist and Ashley Scott scored once for the Lady Bears (3-1), who have won three straight.
Layne Hammond and Ashley Scott each had one assist for Cherokee Bluff.

NORTH HALL 1
The Lady Knights opened Region 8-4A play with a solid showing on the road at The Brickyard on Tuesday.
Bridget Higgins, Lizbeth Rivera, and Keily Gonzales each scored two goals for Johnson (2-0, 1-0 Region 8-4A).
North Hall fell to 0-3, 0-1 in Region 8-4A with the loss. The Lady Trojans are off until traveling to Dawson County next Wednesday.
Johnson heads to Class 7A Meadowcreek on Friday.
