More than a dozen northeast Georgia area schools will be in action on Tuesday, with several key region contests on tap.
In Region 8-4A, Johnson will head to The Brickyard to take on North Hall, while No. 4 East Hall plays host to East Forsyth in a pair of early region battles. For the boys, No. 1-ranked Johnson went a perfect 10-0 and allowed just one goal in region play last season. North Hall has given up 20 goals so far in 2024.
In Region 8-6A, Gainesville will play host to Habersham Central at City Park Stadium in the region opener for all four squads.
One of the better matches of the day has the Class 3A 10th-ranked West Hall boys traveling to South Forsyth, ranked second in Class 7A.
For the girls, two matches involving ranked teams should highlight the action. In Bogart, Class 7A No. 1-ranked Buford travels to take on Class 4A fourth-ranked North Oconee, while in Suwanee, Jefferson, ranked third in Class 5A, takes on Lambert, ranked sixth in Class 7A.
