Hall County residents can file Homestead Exemptions, other tax documents

The Hall County Government is reminding residents now is the time for property owners to file for Homestead Exemptions, including the Total School Tax Exemption and 100% Disabled Veteran Homestead Exemption.

Hall County officials said property owners can file from Jan. 1 to April 1.

Now is also the time to return the Business Personal Property, Marine/Personal Watercraft or Aircraft form, sign up for or renew an Agriculture Covenant, and file a Taxpayer Return of Real Property with the Hall County Board of Assessors’ Office.

Residents can complete applications online. Citizens may also hand deliver or mail in their application or reporting form. 

Online Services

To file your boat, personal watercraft, aircraft, business or manufacturer reporting form;

  1. Search online for qPublic Hall County Ga.

  2. Select the Personal Property tab at the top of the page

  3. Search for your account

  4. Select your account

  5. Select the action you would like to complete, follow the directions and file

Personal Property Reporting forms filed after April 1 will include a 10% late filing penalty by law.
