Seven people were displaced on Christmas Eve following a fire that damaged  three homes in Grayson.

Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services reported that firefighters responded to a house fire on the 900 block of Swan Ridge Circle Tuesday at 12 p.m.  911 callers advised that the fire on the roof was spreading to nearby homes.

Once units arrived on the scene, they discovered the two story residence was fully in flames. The fire was spreading to two homes on either side of the structure. Crews were able to extinguish the blaze, and determined no occupants were inside the homes.

The home where the fire originated was declared a total loss, while the two other homes sustained moderate damage.

The American Red Cross was called to assist six adults and one child displaced in the incident, but no injuries were reported.

The cause for the fire is still under investigation.
