Habersham County is preparing for their annual Christmas Parade on Thursday, December 5, and it's hosted in the City of Cornelia for 2024.

Police in Cornelia kindly remind residents and area commuters that the parade is set to step off at 6:30 p.m., with sections of Clarkesville Road and Old Cleveland Road to be blocked, both adjacent to North Main Street, which will be completely blocked by 6:15 p.m.

Commuters are advised to plan accordingly, as hundreds of spectators and participants will be lining the streets for the parade, and many will be taking part in the event along with Santa himself!

A map of the parade route and road closures can be found attached to this story, or by going to the social media page for Cornelia Police, here.
