Jason Joel Ortiz, 17, of Norcross was arrested on Wednesday for the Nov. 8 murder of 16-year-old Jose Yahir Batz.
The Gwinnett County Police Department said Ortiz has been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies.
Ortiz is currently being held in the Gwinnett County Jail.
