ORIGINAL STORY:

The Gwinnett County Police Department is searching for a missing teen who is believed to have walked away from a Norcross hotel overnight on Nov. 21.

The Police department was called to the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson on Jimmy Carter Blvd at 4:15 a.m. Friday to a report that Demond Alexander, 15, was missing from the hotel.

Demond's mother told authorities he went to the lobby of the hotel Thursday at 11 p.m. to get coffee, but never returned. He was last seen wearing a light colored hoodie, and reportedly was not wearing shoes or a jacket at the time of his disappearance. He is five feet, eight inches tall and weighs 157 pounds.

Demond also has a medical condition which makes him unable to be without parental care for long periods of time, according to GCPD.

Anyone with information on Damond’s whereabouts is asked to contact GCPD detectives at 770.513.5300.  To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at 404.577.TIPS (8477) or visit www.stopcrimeATL.com.

Damond Alexander, 15, reportedly went missing between the night of Nov 21 and early morning hours of Nov. 22. He was wearing the hoodie pictured in this photograph.
