DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Lagrange tallied 365 yards of rushing on the night as they advanced on in the Class 3A playoffs with a 45-6 win over Lumpkin County Friday night.
Malachi Remder Fannin had three rushing touchdowns in the first quarter to give the Grangers a 21-0 lead before stretching the lead to 35-0 by halftime. Trailing 42-0 in the third quarter, Mason Hester linked up with Cal Faulkner to get the Indians on the board.
Lumpkin turned the ball over three times in the game. Nolan Matthews had 123 yards of rushing, while Faulkner had 10 rushing yards, 16 passing yards and 56 receiving yards. Remder Fannin finished with 192 yards rushing on 17 carries, while Dylan Barber added 144 yards on 12 touches for the Grangers.
The Indians finish the season 7-4.
