A heavily damaging fire destroys debris by a mulching company's building in Hall County on Tuesday night.

Public Information Officer Kimberlie Ledsinger says Hall County Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to the 4500 block of  Railroad St. in Oakwood at around 9:30 p.m.. Units arrived to find massive pile of trees and limbs on fire at a mulching company.

Crews needed several hours to defensively combat the towering flames. The unidentified business owner utilized excavator equipment to help remove the pile of burning trees.

Units worked throughout the night continuing their efforts on scene. No injuries were reported and the fire was contained to the pile of debris.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
