Multiple sources have projected Donald Trump as the winner in the 2024 presidential race.
The former President and Republican nominee is projected to win multiple crucial swing states including Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin according to the Associated Press, Fox News Network and CNN as of 9:00 a.m. Wednesday. Those wins, coupled with expected wins in other states, project to give Trump greater than the 270 needed electoral college votes to win the presidency.
Trump would resume office after losing his initial re-election bid in 2020 to current President Joe Biden, edging out Biden's Vice President Kamala Harris, who was the Democrat nominee.
Races are still being considered too close to call by most outlets in the states of Arizona, Alaska, Maine, Michigan and Nevada as of 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.
