Incumbent Republican Brent Cox is the projected winner against Democrat challenger Michael Henson.
The two were running for Georgia’s State House of Representatives’ 28th District.
At 8:30 p.m., Cox led 80-percent to Henson’s 20-percent.
The district covers western Hall County and northeast Forsyth County.
