Georgia gas prices have slightly increased in the last week, but minimally for most commuters.

AAA's webpage shows Georgians are paying an average of $2.94 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline today (Monday). This price is nearly two cents more than a week ago. On average, Georgia drivers are paying $44.10 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline.

AAA's Montrae Waiters says they are expecting prices to dip soon, thanks to the usual drop in demand around this time of year and the switch to the cheaper winter fuel mix.

Hall County drivers will see an average price of $2.87 per gallon today, with the highest average price in northeast Georgia found in Lumpkin County at $2.99 and lowest average price in Habersham County, just below $2.85.

Nationwide, the average price for unleaded regular gasoline is $3.10 per gallon, down three cents from last week.  A link to the AAA website for gas price averages can be found here.
