As of Thursday afternoon, Georgia voters have topped 50% in early voter turnout on the seventeenth day of early voting.

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said 3,653,333 Georgians have cast ballots with 3,426,851 of those voting early.

Towns County leads Georgia in turnout with 68.9%, Oconee County is in second with 65.29%, followed by Rabun with 63.97%, Dawson at 63.88%, Forsyth with 63.04%, Union with 62.97%, Fayette at 62.73% and Greene with 62.23%.

“Georgia voters know we’ve made it easy to cast a ballot. It’s really that simple,” Secretary Raffensperger said. “Over the past four years, we’ve worked tirelessly to prepare for this election by adding Early Voting days and investing in infrastructure, only to be rewarded with the lies of Jim Crow 2.0 and a missed All-Star Game. We’re battled tested and ready, despite the critics.”

Early voting numbers have exceeded previous years with 1,498,184 in 2018, 2,322,682 in 2020 and 1,900,402 in 2022.

Raffensperger said turnout is expected to increase tomorrow, which is the last day of Early Voting.
