Hall County will test the severe weather warning system on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Hall County Government officials said the audible test will sound at 9:30 a.m. for approximately three minutes.
"Hall County has severe weather threats, including tornadoes, during each month of the year," Director of Hall County Emergency Management Zach Brackett said. "Preparing for these threats before they happen allows for peace of mind and a safe approach to severe weather, and I encourage all Hall County residents to sign up for our Citizen’s Alert System to receive potentially life-saving notifications about severe weather in a timely fashion."
The sirens are reportedly tested every three months using the wail alert tone.
Officials said the test will be canceled if a legitimate severe weather threat occurs.
Unless announced as a test all other sirens should be considered as an actual tornado warning.
